The Centre for Musculoskeletal Studies (CMS), which started in January 2000, offers supervised master’s and PhD research study programs.
Headed by Winthrop Professor Kevin Singer, it also offers postgraduate programs including both coursework and dissertation.
Research projects focus on the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal system spanning the fundamental and clinical sciences.

The Centre also offers clinical coursework study programs for physiotherapists leading to the Graduate Diploma and Master of Manual Therapy.
Each course offers flexible study opportunities through external units complemented with intensive on campus skills training. The course attracts strong interest from international graduates.
Clinical associates from the community attached to the Centre collaborate on research projects and support the teaching programs offered by CMS.
