The Perth auditory implant workshop provides a comprehensive update on the state of the art in auditory implants and their future developments.

This three day workshop consists of:

Program

Day 1: Auditory implants today and tomorrow

Current state of the art in assessment, indications and rehabilitation and the future trends in auditory implants

Day 2 and 3: From bone to brain stem

Hands on workshop in the surgical skills lab with in-depth exposure to a whole variety of auditory implants such as the Baha, Vibrant Soundbridge, DACS, EAS and Hybrid cochlear implants as well as the auditory brainstem and midbrain implants under supervision of leaders in the field:

Participant numbers for day two and three are limited to 18 to provide participants with the best opportunity for maximum dissection time. Up to nine observers may register.
